Starr McMullen has been playing the fiddle for over twenty years.  She has won many fiddle contests including the Western Open, NW Regional, Oregon State and Idaho Open Adult Championships and has placed second in the National Adult Division at Weiser, Idaho. Starr is proud of her fiddle students, many of whom have won state and national contests and continued their music studies at colleges including Portland State University, the Berklee School of Music, and the Manhattan School of Music. Starr has judged contests all over the country including the National Fiddle Contest in Weiser, Idaho. Currently she serves as Contest Chair for the Willamette Valley Fiddle Contest, held the first Saturday in August at the Benton County Fair in Corvallis, Oregon.
