Darin Meeks

Darin Meeks has played rhythm guitar and recorded professionally with many of the nation's finest fiddlers. His recent accomplishments include performances at the Grand Ole Opry and a first place win in the accompanist division at the prestigious National Old Time Fiddler's Contest. Although he is most often found playing guitar, Darin started out playing the fiddle at the age of 11 learning from jam session tapes of Orville Burns, Terry Morris and Major Franklin. Darin has judged many fiddle contests around the country including the Idaho State, Washington State, NW. Regional and has judged the Notorious Tony and Darin Fiddle contest 9 times running. Back in the real world, Darin is the co-owner of Dardan Enterprises, a commercial construction firm.
