| Nancy's introduction to the violin was in the 4th grade school orchestra, and her classical studies lasted for about 9 years. In her early 20s, she heard fiddle music, fell in love with the sound, and has pursued that direction ever since. She has performed and recorded with several award-winning bands in the bluegrass and western swing genres. Nancy is a past Montana State Champion and National Adult Division Champion. She has extensive teaching experience, and has enjoyed coaching many successful young fiddlers. |
