In addition to the General Contest Rules, the following rules apply specifically to the Entertainment Showcase Division:

1. Entry blank must be completed and entry fee paid before participation. This division is limited to the first 12 entries.
2. Fiddle Committee officials will randomly select numbers for contestants order of appearance. Contest order will be posted approximately ½ hour before that division begins and the contestant must be ready to play when called.
3. Contestants must play acoustic instruments.
4. Contestants may sing portions of the tune if so desired; however, the main focus of this division is on instrumental music.
5. This division is limited to 1 tune, although a medley is acceptable.
6. Total time on stage is limited to 4 minutes. The time starts when the contestant or accompanists step on stage and ends when they step off the stage. This includes setting up props as well as playing time.
7. In the interest of keeping the contest moving and the audience interested, microphones may not be rearranged.
8. The number of people on stage is limited to 6 people per entry. Please have everyone ready to go on stage when contestant is announced.

There will be “Celebrity Judges” for this event. They will be seated in the audience and will be influenced by audience response.

Judging criteria, in addition to audience response, will include for a total of 100 points:

Stage Presence – 20 points
Costumes – 20 points
Entertainment – 20 points
Musicianship – 20 points
Overall Presentation – 20 points
